Instead of running the drain hose for my dehumidifier across two rooms to the mostly finished basement's floor drain, I used a hole saw to drill a hole in the drywall between two rooms, inserted this grommet and ran the drain hose through it. It looks like a professional, permanent solution and shortened the drain hose run by many feet. Nice, quick, simple solution.
