The lamp is beautiful. The light effect is just like advertised; it gives the illusion of an open door. The bamboo is perfectly crafted. The light inside the bamboo box is not very visible. It is small, only big enough to be on a tabletop for a nice light effect. Beautiful to look at; the design can be admired. The light is soft and simply perfect to look like real door projecting the light from the inside. My only issue with it is that it does not have a power switch; I must use the remote control, which works very well, but this means that I must have the remote control handy, and sometimes I misplace them.I've never seen anything quite like this before, which is why I was interested in ordering it. It's an unusual light that could add a bit of accent to anywhere in your home.But here are some things that make it hard to recommend:* Requires USB for power. Now, I know that USB power blocks are easy to come by these days, many of us have spare ones lying around the house. Still, it's a bit annoying not to be able to just plug this in to the nearest outlet.* Strangely, the "slit" on one face of the wood has two edges that are not quite parallel. In other words, the light opening that runs along the length of the light is narrower on one end than the other. Is this by design? I think it is. I went back to the product photo on Amazon's site, and I guess I can just barely detect it from the photo. But it really makes no sense to me.* The remote control is unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I suspect the problem is a weak connection between the remote and the light. But a remote isn't all that convenient if I have to get up and walk over to the light in order for it to work.* The light is not as warm as I had hoped. It has that cooler default LED look to it. The photos make the light look a bit warmer than it actually is.I suppose the light is OK, and it is definitely unique. But don't expect to be wowed by it. In fact, you might be a little disappointed.Sure, you can use it for a cool 'lamp,' but it's more than that.It's a lighting effect. It's wall wash illumination that can be hidden behind the couch. The light slot is a rhombus and not a rectangle. The rhombus adds a textured illumination.It's about 12" long, so it's small, but the potential is exciting.I like it.I love the indirect light and the wood looks warm and rich ... but it needs a few improvements. First it is a USB plug only with no brick, so if you don't have and extra brick, you will have to buy one. Second, the cord is bright silver, so it doesn't blend well. Last - and the most annoying is that it makes a gorgeous night light, but not really usable because you have to manually turn it on every night. It doesn't have motion sensing, it doesn't have wifi, it doesn't have a timer memory (to turn on/off at the same time every day). All of this could be worked around if your own wifi socket, EXCEPT it doesn't turn on/off based on power. Meaning, if you turned it on, and unplugged it, and then plug it back in, it is off - and you have to manually turn it back on again. Without this auto on with power feature, it is useless with a wifi socket. So ... beautiful design with potential, but not yet ready for prime time.間接照明の常夜灯として使っています。まぶしすぎることもなく、サイズも手頃で重宝しています。唯一、リモコンでしか電源の入り切りができないことが残念です。電池が切れればボタン電池を買いに行かないといけないし、そもそもリモコンを無くしてしまったら何もできなくなります。ミニチュアにライトを仕込むのに使用。LEDもたくさん入っていてこれ一台でミニチュアハウスの電装は充分。リモコンで明度調整も出来、タイマーも付いているので最適です。ただ、複数台並べるとリモコン一つで複数台作動してしまうので個別に動作させたい場合は不便。工作にはハンダ等ある程度の技能が必要です。スリットから漏れ出る間接照明風な暖色光が、和風高級旅館のような良い雰囲気がかもしだせます。竹の質感も落ち着いていてインテリアにすごくマッチしますね。縦置きでも横置きでも自由で、横置きはスリットの向きでも雰囲気に違いが出ます。好みの光らせ方が楽しめます。リモコンでオンオフや５段階の明るさ調整・タイマー機能が使えますが、ライト本体にはスイッチが無いのがやや不便かなと。いちいちリモコンを使わないとならないし、リモコンが壊れたり紛失したりしたらそれでアウトですよね。電源もUSBなのがイマイチに感じますが、このおかげでモバイルバッテリーでも一応点灯させる事ができるのは良い点ですね。ただ、使うバッテリーによっては、すぐに消えてしまったり暗くすると消えてしまうなど、相性がある感じです。一番暗くすると目に優しい最低限の明るさで、常夜灯にもなるし夜中のトイレに起きた時でも眩しくなくて良いです。五角形フォルムが個性的でインテリア的にも映えますが、どうせなら横置きにした時には上に何か載せられる作りだともっと良かったと思います。取説は英語とハングルのみですが、特に難しくない操作なのでリモコンを見ればすぐに理解できると思います。リモコンはコイン電池付きですぐに使えます。USBから電源をとるベッドサイドランプタイマーがついていて自動に消えるのがかなり便利ですまぶしくなく、ほどほどにスマホチェックするのに光量もあります木目調なのもうれしいですプラスチックの白などは黄変劣化するので木目のほうが長持ちですただ電源は普通のコンセントのほうが良かったです昨今USBが増えたことで差し込み口不足です結局コンセント部分のUSB差し込みを一個購入し繋ぐことになりましたまた五角形の形はまっすぐではなく 中途半端に斜めですホームページのものも同じ斜めなのでデザインだと思いますがなんとなく不安定感が否めないのでここだけが残念ですカクカクの竹筒の中にLEDが仕込まれていて、間接照明として枕元に置いております。電源はコンセントではなくUSB端子なので変換でコンセントに繋いでます。リモコンのみでのON OFFなのでリモコンは無くさないように！本を読んだりといった事はできませんが、５段階で明るさを変えれます。完全に真っ暗はなぁ、とゆっくり音楽を聴きながらうつらうつらしたい時は音楽とこのライトをタイマーをかけてゴロゴロすれば知らない間に眠りについて電気も音楽もOFFになってます。光源を直視すると少し違和感のある電球色なのですが、溢れる光は違和感なく綺麗に電球色に見えます。なので光源の見えないような設置がベストかと思います。なかなか雰囲気の出るライトです。
