I purchased this for my two children. Its perfect since they can each sit on one side. Because they are still so young, I currently filled the top two drawers with Legos, the third drawer with art supplies (crayons, scissors, glue, etc.), and the bottom drawer has file folders. I love the compact size and the fact that you can put the sides up and down. It is very easy to open and close, my 3 year old does it on his own when he wants to color or do his preschool homework.I gave it 4 stars for sturdiness only because I have not had it long. It seems to be very sturdy and I hope it remains that way for a long time. I just want to wait and see how it holds up after at least 6 months or more with a couple of kids using it daily. The price was decent. I did find the same product else where online for $45 less than I paid on Amazon for a grey one. I wanted white and the price for the white was $20 more than Amazon. So I feel that I should have paid at least $45 less then I did, but for some reason, the color of the same exact product can have a huge range in price.Assembly - I saw so many negative reviews about the assembly of this product. It took me about 3 hours total to put it together. It would have taken me a lot less time, but here's why it didn't. My husband was at work and I was home with a 1 year old and a 3 year old. So, as I am doing step by step picture instructions, the screw driver kept wandering off so I had to go find 2 more, screws and parts were getting mixed up, directions got torn, wood pieces were being taken into other rooms, and a 'snow storm' of Styrofoam hit my living room. With all of the craziness going on, I felt that 3 hours was great timing.You do have to pay close attention to the picture instructions. I read how some people put thing in reverse and had to take it apart, but if you just look close to detail, you should have no problem. Pay attention to the pictures where the different cuts of the pieces are as well as screw and dowel holes and make sure you put them facing the same direction as pictured. The ONLY problem I had was that one of the metal pieces for the handle did not have the pre-drilled hole to insert the screw. I just got the drill and made the hole, no problem.I would recommend this product to everyone. Love it,
